"Darkness is merely the absence of light; be the light, and you become the master of your darkness"

- Nadera Binte Abdul Aziz, Founder

Mission

1. Bring persons in recovery from mental illness together so they do not journey alone and encourage them to move away from the 'victim' narrative to know that they are an asset, bringing their unique strengths, abilities and lived experiences to make a difference in their everyday live.

2. Reduce stigma and discrimination of mental illnesses. Persons in recovery from mental illness experience stigma and discrimination that hinders their recovery, causing greater harm than the illness itself.

Vision

Inspired and empowered persons in recovery from mental illness who use their lived experience with mental illness and 'turn their mess into a message'.

A recovery culture in Singapore driven by communities that practice recovery language and promote wellness, allowing individuals to have equal or better opportunities for education/employment and meaningful contributions to society.
